MassDel Technology, a freight platform which facilitated bookings between shippers that needed to transport goods and carriers, was launched in Addis Ababa. According to MassDel Digital Technology’s Manager Tewabe Yilak, the technology implements a software which automatically connects shippers and carriers.

The platform works with thousands of independent delivery partners or drivers that own a variety of vehicles and is said to provide customers with fast and secured delivery and reduce information asymmetry between carriers and shippers. The platform will enable users to locate the carrier or driver at all times.

MassDel Technology is expected to create job opportunities for thousands and play its part in the development of Ethiopian digital technology. The company aims to enter the markets of other large cities in Ethiopia and abroad.
