Ethiopia's Ministry of and Industry announced that $203 million has been obtained in five months from the export of products from manufacturing industries. The amount stands at 94 percent of the $215 million targeted for the period.
Compared to the same period last year, the amount has shown an increase of $45.85 million, or 29.21 percent, Melaku Alebel, Minister of Industry, said in a tweet.
The Minister highlighted the importance of working to alleviate Ethiopia out of povery in the face of challenges.
