Ethiopia has obtained $3.7 million from the export of electrical and electronic equipment during the first quarter of the Ethiopian fiscal year that started July 8, 2021.
Tsehaye Yinesu, Director of Electrical and Electronic Communications Directorate at the Ethiopian Ministry of Trade and Industry, pointed out concerted efforts have been made to increase the production capacity of the sector.
Subsequently, four new projects have started production of electrical and electronic equipment, while three enterprises have expanded and increased their production capacity, it has been learned.
