The new "ultramodern" parking space at Addis Ababa's Meskel Square has gone operational. Part of the Meskel Square public project that cost over 2.5 billion birr, the Meskel Square underground parking space can provide parking to up to 1,400 vehicles at a time.
The newly renovated Meskel Square has been inaugurated in June this year. The renovation has given a facelift to the iconic public space that hosts all sorts of public gatherings. Meskel Square can accommodate a gathering of up to half a million people.
The Meskel Square Parking space now gives service 24/7.
