Ebiz Online Solutions PLC - the company behind the popular Ethiopian business portal, 2merkato - is conducting a training for officials of the Bureau of Job Creation and Enterprise Development (BoJCED) from 116 woredas in Addis Ababa.

Ebiz, in collaboration with SNV and with the knowledge and cooperation of BoJCED, launched Kefta in 2020. Kefta was conceived in March 2019 to provide access to information and access to market to registered micro and small enterprises (MSE's) in Addis Ababa. Kefta has been specially designed to address the needs of MSE's.
The services can be accessed on kefta.2merkato.com, Kefta Mobile App, Megbia market place app, 2merkato Construction, 2merkato.com and Ebiz's call centre - 6131.
The training is being conducted this week in all the subcities. The officials will be introduced (or reintroduced) to Kefta and its services, how it benefits the enterprises, and what their role is in helping the enterprises benefit from the services.
Ebiz provides a heavily subsidised service to MSE's and plans to register at least three thousand enterprises that can access its tender service, B2B and B2C platforms.
Enterprises in the construction sector will specially benefit from the construction job interface on con.2merkato.com.
