Bruno Le Maire, France’s Minister of Finance, is set to arrive in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Monday for an official working visit.

During his visit, Mr. Le Maire will hold talks with senior government officials with the theme of fostering and diversifying economic ties between Ethiopia and France. Upon his arrival, the Finance Minister will be welcomed by Ethiopian Airlines' top management and will also visit the airlines' facilities.

It is to be recalled that French President Emmanuel Marcon visited Ethiopia in March 2019, during which several numerous cooperation accords have been signed including air cooperation and joint operations, opportunities for training and equipment purchases, and a military cooperation accord of which helping Ethiopia build a navy is a part of.
