Ethiopian Water Works Construction Enterprise is going to establish a water engineering training institute at an out lay of 200 Million Birr.
According to the CEO of the Enterprise a foundation stone for the construction of the institute is going to be laid at Mojo.
The CEO furthered the construction is going to be done in different phases and it will admit the first 20 cadets in January 2016.
Upon completion the institute is expected to give the Ethiopian labor market a boost with regard to water engineers for it will increase the number of competent water engineers in the country. It will also contribute for Ethiopia’s efforts to meet plans of having a competitive institution in the water sector.
There are also plans to train professionals from neighboring countries when the institute goes operational, Ataklti noted.
In a related matter, headquarter of the enterprise which is built in the capital city at an outlay of more than 105 Million Birr is going to be inaugurated.
