Ethiopia and Brazil Signed Cooperation Agreements

Ethiopia and Brazil signed cooperation agreements in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Friday 24, May 2013 to work in collaboration in the agriculture, education, science and technology as well as air transport sectors.

The agreements is said to enable to facilitate science and technology transfer to Ethiopia. The agreements will help to further boost existing relation between the two countries, according to Foreign Affairs State Minister Ambassador Berhane Gebrekirstos.

Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn held talks with the Brazilian President Dilma Vana Rousseff , who arrived here to attend in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the OAU/AU. The two parties discussed on ways to further boost existing bilateral relation between Ethiopia and Brazil.

Brazilian experts are already working in sugar development and agriculture sector according to agreements signed earlier between the two countries.
