Ethiopia: Ministry Prepares for Full Implementation of Asset Recovery Law

The Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Construction presented for discussion with stakeholders the draft proclamation governing the construction industry, The Ethiopian Herald reported.

The retail prices of petroleum products in Ethiopia have been increased by up to Birr 8, according to the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration. The revised prices took effect from 12 PM. today.

In a recent announcement, Minister of Tourism Nasise Chali revealed that the existing hotel star ratings would be retired by September 2024. This move comes in response to Regulation No. 173/2010, which mandates hotels to undergo re-classification every three years.
