MIDROC Investment Group and Mariott International inked three agreements to reopen hotels in Bahir Dar and Hawassa.
The two companies agreed to reopen Tana Hotel, located in Bahir Dar, and Progress International, located in Hawassa, under the Four Points by Sheraton brand while reaching an agreement to reopen Bahir Dar’s Blue Nile (Avanti) Resort under the Pretorea Marriot brand.
The signing ceremony was attended by the CEO of MIDORC Investment Group, Mr. Jamal Ahmed, and the Deputy CEO of the Hotel and Tourism Sector Solomon Zewdu. Marriot was represented by Karim Chelot, Jugal Kushalani, and Edward Edwards.
