As part of an initial step for the agreed upon broad project, Hibret Bank is appointed as a Super-Agent to synergize the Cash-in and Cash-out process of the numerous agents registered under Safaricom M-PESA.

Hibret Bank has reported a pre-tax profit of Birr 749.04 million for the 2024/25 fiscal year, according to disclosures made during its 28th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
