Enat Bank surpassed the first one Billion Birr deposit mark in its first year operation. This was disclosed by Meaza Ashenafi, the Bank’s Board of Directors Chairperson, during the Enat’s annual report on Sunday, December 7, 2014.
Enat Bank S.C., one of the private banks in Ethiopia, made a net profit of 79 million Birr in the past fiscal year. The performance of the bank shows a 59 percent increase when compared to the preceding year.
Enat Bank S.C. opened its fifth branch on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Mekato, Dubai Tera. The branch is named after the first female Member of Parliament.
Enat Bank S.C. will open its sixth branch in Addis Ababa dubbing it Catherine Hamlin- after an Australian obstetrician and gynecologist that co-founded the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital. The branch is going to be located around Meskel Flower.
Engine manufacturing plant found in Tigray State of Ethiopia is said to launch trial production of engines. Such was disclosed by Major Assefa Yohannes, General Manager of the Ethiopian Power Engineering Industry.
