Ethiopian National Defense Construction Enterprise and Construction Materials Manufacturing Enterprise has joined hands with Legendary MegaCrop, an infrastructure development firm from the United States (US), to establish a company that will produce modern construction materials. The company will be established in Ethiopia and the US based firm will have an initial investment of 10 million USD.

Derba MIDROC Cement and Sinoma International Engineering Group agreed to work together on the Derba Cement Factory expansion project. The agreement is expected to increase the daily production capacity of the factory to 150,000 quintals by enabling the factory to produce 80,000 additional quintals of cement to what it is currently producing.
