Dangote Cement PLC is to inaugurate its cement plant in Ethiopia on Thursday, June 5, 2015, according to The Daily Monitor.
Dangote Cement, a newly built cement plant in Ethiopia, which is owned by Dangote Group, is to commence production next month, Ethiopian News Agency reported.

Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote’s group of companies has increased its planned investment in a fertiliser plant in Ethiopia to more than USD 4 billion, up from the USD 2.5 billion announced last year.
Ethiopia’s largest cement producer, Dangote Cement, has suspended some of its operation. The company did this after the employment exchange company it signed agreements with for the provision of human resource, dubbed EZE ENginnering, had its license revoked by Oromia State.
