Dangote Group, one of the multinational companies investing in Ethiopia, disclosed it is planning to diversify its investments in Ethiopia. According to Aliko Dangote, Owner and CEO of the Group, his company is ready to invest in packaging and sugar production. The business tycoon disclosed his plan during his visit and meeting with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Hailemariam Dessalegn.

Dangote Cement PLC, one of the giants in the Ethiopian cement market, disclosed it has made 85.8 million USD during the last fiscal year from its establishment in Ethiopia.

Dangote, East Africa’s biggest cement plant was inaugurated by Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegne on May 28, 2015, according to Ethiopian News Agency.
