Dangote Cement, a newly built cement plant in Ethiopia, which is owned by Dangote Group, is to commence production next month, Ethiopian News Agency reported.
Ethiopia’s largest cement producer, Dangote Cement, has suspended some of its operation. The company did this after the employment exchange company it signed agreements with for the provision of human resource, dubbed EZE ENginnering, had its license revoked by Oromia State.
Nigeria’s Dangote Cement inked deals with China’s Sinoma International Engineering Co. worth USD 4.34 billion on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, to construct cement plants in African countries, Reuters reported.
Akilo Dangote’s proposal to acquire exploration license for potash mineral in Afar Regional State, Ethiopia is approved by Ministry of Mines, according to The Reporter.
