Following the privatization of Asella Malt to Oromia Agricultural Cooperative Federation, the new owners have signed the transfer agreement with the Ministry of Public Enterprises. The agreement was signed on April 5, 2018, between the 2 parties. And following this, the Cooperative has paid the 35 percent downpayment.
Aser Construction PLC, one of the Grade I contractors in Ethiopia, constructed a public park in the capital city, Addis Ababa, at an outlay of 15 million Birr. The park is said to cover more than 6,000 square meters.

The Ashegoda Wind Power Plant in Tigray is back in operation after a three-year hiatus caused by the war in the north. Commissioned in 2014, the wind farm plays a key role in supplying clean energy to the region.
