Ethiopia’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) disclosed in 1 month time 350 travelers used the newly started Addis – Khartoum road transport.
The fare rate for meter taxis in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, has been set on February 8, 2017. The fares have been set by the Addis Ababa City Transport Authority to be 10 Birr per kilometer for the four-seat taxis and 13 Birr per kilometer for the seven-seat taxis.
Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa is going to get road address sign posts, house number and block plates that are worth over 34 million Birr. The city’s Integrated Land Information Centre concluded an agreement with Hibret Manufacturing and Machinery Construction Industry of Metals Engineering and Corporation for the effect of producing, transporting and erecting the said materials. The contract conclusion was done on Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
The newly built smart car parking in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, has begun trial operation. The car parking building was built at an outlay of million Birr and it is located in the neighborhood commonly known as Megenagna.
