Ethiopian Aviation Academy, the largest aviation academy in Africa, a full ICAO Trainer Plus Member and IATA Authorized Global Training Center, is pleased to announce that it has graduated 47 pilots, 92 aviation maintenance technicians, 50 cabin crew and 133 marketing professionals in a graduation ceremony held atEthiopian Headquarters on November 17, 2016.
Ministry of Public Enterprises is set to privatize 4 public enterprises operating in Ethiopia: Bahir Dar Textile S.C., Kombolcha Textile S.C., National Tobacco Enterprise S.C. and Ethiopian Crown Cork and Can Manufacturing Industry S.C.
Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) disclosed that the 5 industrial parks operating in Ethiopia have created around 40,000 job opportunities until the beginning of October. The industrial parks are Bole lemi, Hawassa, George shoe, Eastern industrial and Velocity. Out of these parks, Bole lemi and Hawassa industrial parks are owned by the government.
Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) disclosed in the 11 months of the past fiscal year 48 investment projects went operational all over Ethiopia. The projects have a total registered capital of 745 million Birr.
The Addis Ababa City Labour Enterprise and Industry Development Bureau revealed that 481 enterprises have transitioned to high and medium industry in Addis Ababa. This was mentioned during the 12th round of the transition program of enterprises which was held yesterday.
