Ethiopia, Brazil Conclude Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement
Ethiopia and Brazil concluded an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation on profits derived from international air and shipping transport on June 22, 2015 in Brasilia, according to Fana Broadcasting corporate.
A joint trade and investment forum, with aims to further boost trade and investment flow, was held between Canadian business delegation and their Ethiopian counterparts in Addis Ababa yesterday.
Ethiopia and China signed a $1.8 billion investment agreement. The agreement covers provision of electric power transmission and distribution lines. The signing of the agreement came following Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed meeting officials of State Grid Corporation of China in Beijing. On Ethiopia's part, Ahmed Shide, Minister of Finance and Economic Cooperation inked the agreement.
