Ethiopia participated in SCAJ World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition 2022 (SCAJ 2022) which took place in Tokyo, Japan. Ethiopian Coffee Association, Ethiopian Chamber of Sectoral Associations, and 40 Ethiopian coffee exporters represented Ethiopia in the event which hosted coffee growers, exporters, and importers from several countries.
Ministry of Tourism announced that Ethiopia was participating in World Travel Market (WTM) 2022 tourism expo which was held in London. Ethiopia is being represented by nine travel agencies, Ethiopian Airlines, and Ethiopian Embassy in London.
The expo which is organized by Reed Exhibitions Limited (UK) will end on the 9th of November. It features offers from the biggest travel destinations, accommodation suppliers, airlines, and tour operators.
WTM London is the world’s leading platform for the global travel industry. It provides networking, business and idea-generating opportunities to all players in the travel industry – accommodation providers, travel agents, tour guides and buyers.

Hailemariam Desalegn, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia met up with South Korea’s Government Administration and Home Affairs Minister Chong Jong-Sup on March 19, 2015.
Ethiopia’s Ministry of Finance and Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the African Trade Insurance Agency (ATIDI) to accelerate the country’s clean energy transition.
Ethiopia is planning, in partnership with Castel (a French wine making group) to start exporting wine from 
the vineyard near Ziway, 170km to the south of Addis Ababa.
The site was chosen in 2008 and 750,000 vines were planted, employing a labour force of 750, mostly local people.
"We want to export nearly half of our production, especially to the United States, which has a large Ethiopian community," Robel Seido, head of sales at Castel, said. According to Seido, the other half of the production will be set aside for the local market, but it will be of a better quality than the few existing table wines in the country.
