Ethiopia Mineral Development Share Company (EMD) concluded a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CVMR Ltd during the Canadian Council of Africa’s Canada-Africa Business 2014 summit.
Ethiopia managed to hit only 56.6 percent of the target it set for the export of manufactured goods during the first 6 months of the current fiscal year. This was disclosed by the Ahmed Abitew, Minister for Industry, during his 6 months report presentation to the House of Peoples’ Representatives (HPR).

The agency is working to enhance the quality of the climatology information that it offers from the 93% it currently stands at said Fetene Teshome, Director General of the Agency.
The EMA is planning to upgrade 36 existing level four stations to level three and to install eight communication radios as well as refurbishing 20 major stations and installing one station to detect pollution he said.
