Ethiopia intends to export value added meat products in ten years to come, Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC) reported.

The Ethiopia International Mining Conference and Exhibition 2015 (EIMC 2015) is to be held from 23-24 September, 2015, at the United Nations Conference Center, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

Ethiopia International Mining Conference is scheduled to be held in Addis Ababa at the Millennium Hall from June 18 – 20, 2016. The event is said to be organized by Ethio Mining International Expo.

The Minister of Communication and Information Technology in Ethiopia has successfully introduced unified utility billing system. The Ministry has completed 79 per cent of client registration within a month for inclusion in the new billing system. The billing system is aimed at improving utilities billing systems in Ethiopia.

According to Debretsion Gebremichael, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Communication and Information Technology, the confusion and long queues created in the initial stage of the system a month ago has now been cleared and solved.

Ethiopia’s Immigration and Citizenship Service (ICS) has launched a 10 year residency permit, branded as the Golden Visa, as part of efforts to attract foreign investors and support the country’s ongoing economic reform agenda.
