Ethiopia Earns USD 674 Million from Coffee Exports in Four Months

Ethiopia’s coffee export sector continues to deliver results, with the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority announcing that the country earned over USD 674 million from coffee exports in the first four months of the current fiscal year.

Ethiopia generated USD 71 million in the past 9 months from electricity export. The Ministry of Water and Energy stated that efforts were being made to overcome the foreign currency shortage in the country by increasing income from the sale of electricity. The country was able to export 10,725 Gigawatts of power during the same period.
