Ethiopia Earns $104 Mln from Leather, Shoes Export
Ethiopia has earned over 104 million dollars from the export of shoes, leather and leather products during the fiscal year to 7 July 2011, the Leather Industry Development Institute said.
The income exceeds that of the previous fiscal year by 50 million dollars. The items were exported to the United States Europe Asia and African countries, Birhanu Sirjabo, communication director of the institute, said.
The Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority disclosed that Ethiopia has collected a revenue of $107 million from March 10 to April 2021. The amount has been earned from exporting 27,000 tones of coffee. This, the Authority stated, is a record high earning from coffee for a month's period.
