Ethiopia Earned 309 Million USD from Minerals Export

Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed during the first 10 months of the just concluded fiscal year, Ethiopia earned 4 billion USD in remittance.
Ethiopia earned 80 million USD from the export of mutton and chevon in the past 10 months of the current fiscal year. Such was disclosed by Ethiopian Meat Producer-Exporters Association (EMPEA).
The just ended fiscal year saw Ethiopia’s export earnings from coffee reaching 866 million USD. This was from 221,000 tons of coffee exported during the period.
The first 4 months of the current fiscal year saw Ethiopia earned 959 million USD from the tourism sector. During the period 256,000 tourists visited Ethiopia, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MoCT).
