Ethiopia and 2 Chinese Firms Signed MoU

Algeria and Ethiopia concluded three cooperation agreements in the capital of Algeria, Algiers, on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

In a move to boost the operational capabilities of Ethiopia's Dire Dawa Free Trade Zone, a formal cooperation agreement has been signed with Azerbaijan’s Alat Free Trade Zone. The agreement was reached during a recent visit by a high-level delegation of Ethiopian government officials to the Alat Free Economic Zone in Azerbaijan.
Ethiopia and Botswana have signed a bilateral agreement designed to enhance the air transport sector. The agreements were a part of bilateral discussion headed by Phandu Skelemani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Botswana and Dr. Tewdros Adhanom, Ethiopian Foreign Affairs Minister.
The bilateral transport agreement was signed by Diriba Kuma Ethiopia Minister of Transport and Skelemani. The agreement is a sign of the commitment of both countries to enhancing their existing relationship said Diriba.
It is expected that the agreement will contribute to cultural as well as trade relations between the two countries according to Diriba.Ethiopia and Brazil signed cooperation agreements in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Friday 24, May 2013 to work in collaboration in the agriculture, education, science and technology as well as air transport sectors.
The agreements is said to enable to facilitate science and technology transfer to Ethiopia. The agreements will help to further boost existing relation between the two countries, according to Foreign Affairs State Minister Ambassador Berhane Gebrekirstos.
