Ethio Lease, the first equipment leasing company to be licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia, has on Wednesday given sixteen combine harvesters to farmers and farming unions. 

Ethio Lease, the first equipment leasing company to be licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia, announced it has distributed 85 combine harvesters to beneficiaries, ten of which have been delivered to the Ethiopian Agricultural Business Corporation.

Ethio Lease has signed a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture and the Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA) to lease agriculture equipment to ATA sponsored farmers’ mechanisation centres. Ethio Lease is the first foreign-owned leasing company in Ethiopia.

Ethio Lease, the first foreign-owned leasing company in Ethiopia, has received 44 tractors set to be distributed to farmers before the rainy season begins. Ethio Lease has taken up the task as part of an agreement it signed with the Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture and the Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA).

Ethio Life & General Insurance to introduce new micro-insurance product called "Women Specific Group Credit Life Insurance".

During the launch this month, the insurance company will hand certificate of insurance to 52 Women's saving and credit cooperatives organized under the organization, Women in Self Employment.
