Ethio Djibouti Standard Gauge Railway S.C. (EDR) has increased its share in national logistics from 11% to 15% by increasing the value and variety of goods its transports. The company was also able to collect Birr 350 million in revenue in January.

EDR was able to make Birr 2.5 billion within the first five months of the current fiscal year by transporting 500,000 tons of cargo. It is preparing to transport agricultural products produced by farmers and export items manufactured by investors. EDR will also commence transporting cement, sugar, and gas in the near future.
