The brewery is expected to have an annual production capacity of 500,000 hectolitres of beer. Construction of the factory is scheduled to start when the rainy season is over and to be completed in 18 months time.
Peter Ndegwa, Safaricom CEO, has confirmed that Safaricom has put in a bid for one of the two telecom licenses Ethiopia has made available.
Safaricom Ethiopia announced that it is building its first data center in Addis Ababa at a cost of $100 million.
