Ethiopian Transports COVID-19 Vaccines to African Countries
Ethiopian Airlines, the multi-award-winning and largest airline in Africa, has announced that it has operated COVID-19 vaccine delivery flights from Mumbai to Addis Ababa and from Beijing to Brazzaville. In a press release sent to 2merkato.com, Ethiopian said it "continued to play its prominent role in the vaccine distribution and transported the vaccines from Beijing to Brazzaville via Addis Ababa on 10 March 2021."

Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s leading airline, has transported 1,056,000 doses of COVID19 vaccines in a single flight, it related in a statement sent to 2merkato.com. Ethiopian transported the vaccines in 6 envirotainers from Beijing to Harare via Addis Ababa and arrived in Harare on 31st March 2021.
Ethiopian University Selects Designs for Expansion Group
Hawassa University, Ethiopia selected designs for additional buildings to be constructed as part of its expansion program.
The winners of the competition were BET Architects, K2N Consulting Architecture and Engineers plc and were each awarded 50,000 birr for their designs.
Competing companies were asked to deliver designs for one of the projects that the University is undertaking said Denbeshu Nuaere, Construction and Maintenance Director with the University.
Ethiopian Urban Ministry Completes Purchase of DAT/EM Systems Work Stations
DAT/EM Systems International has finalized the sale and installation of 29 SUMMIT Evolution workstations for the Urban Development Capacity Building Office of the Ethiopian Ministry of Urban Development and Construction.
The work stations will provide technical support for the Base Map Preparation Project to be carried out in 150 selected towns.
