Ethiopian Urban Ministry Completes Purchase of DAT/EM Systems Work Stations

DAT/EM Systems International has finalized the sale and installation of 29 SUMMIT Evolution workstations for the Urban Development Capacity Building Office of the Ethiopian Ministry of Urban Development and Construction.

The work stations will provide technical support for the Base Map Preparation Project to be carried out in 150 selected towns.

The purchase of the digital photogrammetric workstations will enable the office to develop geospatially correct and current digital base maps from satellite imagery more efficiently according to Stan Mill International Business Development Manager for DAT/EM.

The Digital Base Maps will be significant to urban planning and development activities as well other projects in the national Growth and Transformation Plan including agriculture, utility and infrastructure Moll said.
