Ethiopian Airlines has resumed its flights to Namibia's capital Windhoek this week. Ethiopian's flight to Namibia's Hosea Kutako International Airport last week was the first international arrival to the destination since the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, carrying 43 passengers and 11 crew members.
Ethiopian Airlines announced it has resumed daily flights to Kenya. Ethiopia is one of the 11 countries the Kenyan government has allowed to fly to its territories, effective August 1.
The Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority said it has collected over 84.2 billion Ethiopian birr revenue during the just ended Ethiopian Fiscal Year.
The Authority told Ethiopian News Agency on Tuesday that the revenue collected showed an increase of 13.56 billion birr compared to the amount collected in the previous budget year.The Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority (ERCA) announced that it collected over 16 billion birr form tax revenue. The tax was collected in the first quarter of this fiscal year nationally with the exception of Addis Ababa.
ERCA plans to collect 76 billion birr in tax revenue this year according to Gebrewahid Woldegiorgis Law Enforcement Deputy Director for ERCA. It is expected that Ethiopia will raise 13% of the total national income in tax revenue this year he said.
The Ethiopian Revenue and Custom Authority allowed 12.3 billion birr in duty free privileges in the last two quarters of the 
fiscal year in Ethiopia.
The duty privileges amounts to 35.3% of the total revenue raised by the authority in the last six months according to Efrem Mekonnen, Head of the Communications Department with ERCA.
ERCA extends duty free privileges to members of the diplomatic community and investors in pre specified strategic sectors.
