The Ethiopian Airlines has offered 10 percent air-ticket discount for Ethiopians and foreigners of Ethiopian origin who travel to Ethiopia to celebrate the first Ethiopian Diaspora Day from August 12-16, 2015.
Ethiopian Airlines (ET) has offered a discount to Ethiopian Horticulture Exporters using its cargo service, Addis Fortune reported.
National Oil Ethiopia Plc (NOC) is exploring the launch of operations in the East African Nations of Southern Sudan and Djibouti. NOC will install fuel stations and depots to provide complete oil retailing services in these countries, once a final decision has been made.
“We have only a plan and we are only exploring business opportunities in these countries. We are not sure whether we will be entering these markets or not” said Tadesse Tilahun, CEO and shareholder of NOC. The CEO explained that NOC is just investigating business opportunities in neighboring countries and has not made a final decision to enter the regional markets.
Ethiopian Airlines disclosed its order to purchase six 787-8 Dreamliner at the Paris Air Show from Boeing on June 17, 2015. The order was formerly credited to anonymous customer on Boeing’s Orders and Deliveries website.
Ethiopian based organizations including money transfer agents, embassies and other enterprises dependent on internet and related operations voiced frustration at the services they receive from Ethio Telecom services.
The Ethio Telecom customers complained against the weak internet services in particular.
Complaints were heard at the event commemorating Ethio-Telecom’s Second Enterprise Customers Day on Wednesday.
