Ethiopian Chlorine Factory to Begin Production
A chlorine factory built in Ethiopia will begin production in September according to the Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority.
The factory will help save an estimated 20 million birr spent on the import 500 tons of chlorine every year according to Engineer Emiru Mekonnen, Production Head with the authority.
The factory is part of the expansion program launched at a cost of 500 million birr at the Dire And Legedadi water reservoirs said Emiru.
Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services, Africa’s largest network cargo operator and multi-award winner, has been awarded the 2020 STAT International Award for Excellence in Air Cargo.
Africa’s largest aviation group, Ethiopian Airlines, has been chosen the "Best African Airline" at the 2021 Business Traveller Awards. The votes made by the business travellers for this year took into account the COVID period with key questions covering airlines’ effectiveness in communication, effective implementation of COVID precautionary measures, handling of loyalty program member passengers and flexibility of ticket changes.
