Ethiopian Airlines has been awarded as "The Best Airline in Africa" for the fourth year in a row, "The Best Business Class Airline in Africa" for the third year in a row, "The Best Economy Class Airline in Africa" for the third year in a row, and "The Best Cabin Crew in Africa" in the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards 2021.
Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services, the largest air cargo network operator in Africa, has been crowned with 'Cargo Airline of The Year' and 'Best Cargo Arline - Africa' at the Air Cargo News Awards 2022, according to a press release sent to 2merkato.com by the group on 18 September 2022. In a ceremony held in London on 16 September 2022, Ethiopian has been crowned with the two awards in the presence of cargo leaders from across the globe.
The Revenue and Customs Authority in Ethiopia cautioned the businesses in Dire Dawa and Harar to handle receipts better.
