Ethiopian Airlines Finalize Deal for HQ Construction
Ethiopian Airlines, Ethiopia’s flag carrier, has finalized the deal for the construction of its Head Quarter building inside of Bole
International Airport with BET Architects plc and its partner Soehene Partners Architects.
The deal was signed by Yissehak Zewoldi, Vice President of Alliances & Corporate Strategic Planning with Ethiopian and Tesfamariam Teshome, Manager, Senior Partner, and Architect at BET Architects plc on Friday.
The deal was reached after a long negotiation process over a period of almost a year.
Ethiopian Airlines first Airbus A350-900 is taking shape on the Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Toulouse, France. Ethiopian Airlines will be the first African A350 XWB operator when it takes delivery of the aircraft next year.
Ethiopian Airlines announced that its flights to China continue undeterred. In a news statement, the largest airline in Africa stated that its regular flights to its five Chinese destinations of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Hong Kong have not been interrupted, despite the coronavirus outbreak.
