China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Company that had undertaken the power supply project to the Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit (AA-LRT) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia had guaranteed dependable power supply to the light rail project, Xinhua reported.
A Chinese company disclosed it is ready to establish a huge textile factory in Ethiopia at an outlay of U.S $ 500 Million. The company disclosed it has finished pre-investment assessments to build the factory.

The AVIC and Ethiopian Airlines are discussing financing for the project said Tewolde Gebremariam, Chief Executive of Ethiopian Airlines.
It is expected that the construction project for the maintenance hanger will commence in the first quarter of 2012 to be completed within 900 days from when construction begins according to Tewolde.
