
Ethio Post announced a remarkable 3.85 billion Birr in revenue for the 2025/26 fiscal year, marking a 30 percent growth compared to the previous year.
The financial milestone was disclosed during a four-day leadership forum held at the African Leadership Excellence Academy. The summit brought together Ethio Post executives and regional leaders from across the country to review the past year's performance and outline plans for the 2026/27 fiscal year.
According to the institution, the past fiscal year was widely successful, with remarkable results recorded across multiple key performance indicators.
Following the successful completion of its previous strategic plan, dubbed "In-Depth and Comprehensive," Ethio Post has now drafted a new three-year strategy. The institution expressed a strong commitment to translating this new roadmap into action, with a primary focus on delivering technology-driven and customer-centric services.
To celebrate the year's successes, the closing ceremony featured an awards presentation honoring top-performing branches. The General Post Office (GPO), along with the Addis Ababa and Eastern Districts, were awarded trophies and certificates of recognition for their outstanding performance during the 2025/26 fiscal year.
In his closing remarks, Ethio Post Chief Executive Officer Mr. Dagmawi Hailye emphasized that strong leadership and the coordinated efforts of employees are vital for the successful execution of the new strategic plan.
The CEO called upon every leader and employee to fulfill their responsibilities, urging them to actively contribute to the digital transformation journey the institution has embarked on to ensure a successful 2026/27 fiscal year.
