Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics (ESL) has reported a revenue exceeding Birr 13 billion during the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

The company has also transported a substantial cargo volume, comprising 971,438 tons of import goods and over 200,000 tons of export commodities by sea.

ESL's extensive multimodal system has facilitated the delivery of 29,557 containers and 411 vehicles to domestic dry ports and customs-licensed warehouses. Additionally, the company's unimodal transport system has successfully transferred a substantial cargo volume, totaling 832,070 tons of imports and 83,662 tons of exports.

In terms of infrastructure and service, ESL has also managed the provision of a total of 104,659 containers at ports and terminals during this productive quarter.
