Ethiopian Airlines has made an announcement regarding the upcoming resumption of its direct passenger flights to Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic (CAR), starting in November 2023. These flights will operate three times a week, specifically on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Bangui holds significant importance as CAR's largest city and serves as a key economic and cultural center for the country. The reinstatement of direct flights between Addis Ababa and Bangui is expected to enhance trade and tourism between the two nations. Additionally, it will provide residents of CAR with convenient access to Ethiopian Airlines' extensive global network, encompassing more than 130 destinations across five continents.
