Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) concluded agreements with Ethiopian Road Construction Corporation (ERCC) for the construction of road that links Gambella State and Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples State with South Sudan.

The project is scheduled to be completed in two years and estimated to cost 927 Million Birr.

The two also agreed a 558 Million Birr deal for the reconstruction of Awash-Mille road which is found in the Afar State. The due date for the project is three years.
