Japan and Ethiopia held a five days dialogue that lasted from August 11 to 15 on Industrial Development. The dialogue was held in Addis Ababa and it was the 14th Round of Policy Dialogue on Industrial Development.

A four day Borlaug Fellowship workshop, which lasted from August 11 to 14, was held at the US-Embassy’s Foreign Agriculture Service for the purpose of linking female agribusiness entrepreneurs from the sectors of Ethiopian coffee, diary and feed sectors with local agricultural research community and scientists from Penn State University.

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) concluded a cooperative agreement with Microsoft East Africa Limited for the purpose of enhancing development activities in entrepreneurship areas. Ethio Telecom disclosed it will start giving a 4G service for its customers in Addis Ababa beginning from the coming month. With regard to the rest of the country, Ethio Telecom will commence rendering the service in the coming year.
