ALLE disclosed it aims to supply consumer goods that are worth 354 Million Birr during the current fiscal year.

According to the Enterprise’s General Manager, Nuredin Mohammed, the items ALLE plans to supply for the current fiscal year are going to be distributed through stores opened at Megenagna, Kaliti and Merkato areas.

ALLE was inaugurated by Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn four months ago as a wholesale enterprise for the purpose of supplying goods at a competitive price for retailers.

Thus far it has supplied food and other fast moving consumer goods worth 42 Million Birr to retailers, Nuredin noted.

He furthered, ALLE is currently supplying goods with lower prices when compared to the market prices, 5 to 15 percent less than the market price. In addition to this, it currently has 280 Million Birr worth items as a stock.

For the coming three years ALLE intends to open 36 stores in 27 different towns. According to Nuredin, cities chose for the current fiscal year and will have stores of ALLE are Hawassa, Sheshemene, Dessie, Bahir Dar, Mekelle, Dire Dawa and Adama.
