The Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) is working to develop the mining sector by providing more than Birr 1.4 billion to more than 110 customers engaged in the mining sector.

The Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) and the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) have recently entered into a contract to establish a cutting-edge technology center in Kotebe sub-city, Addis Ababa. The center, to be constructed on EEU premises, carries a price tag of Birr 9,341,596,232.

The revision of retail selling prices for petroleum products is determined monthly based on the global oil market prices and occasionally remains unchanged.
