The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) entered into agreements with 11 local and international companies that have expressed keen interest in investing in Mekelle, Jimma, Bahir Dar, Kilinto, and Bole Lemi industrial parks.

IPDC anticipates that these companies will not only generate employment opportunities for over 5,000 citizens but also foster market linkages benefiting more than 50,000 farmers.

Collectively, these companies, boasting a cumulative investment of USD 100 million, will secure industrial factory sheds covering an expansive 31,000 square meters of land. Additionally, an extra 4.5 hectares of land will be allocated for diverse purposes.
