Ethiopia: Biftu Baha to Open a Flour and Pasta Company in Dire Dawa

The Beeftu Baha Oromia Share Company, a company that has been exporting agricultural products for the past few years, is building a flour and pasta factory in Dire Dawa, Ethiopia.

The factory will cost Birr 250 million Ethiopian birr and will create jobs for 100 people. Biftu Baha has already secured the land and has completed the design and market feasibility study. It is collaborating with Dire Dawa University, which will enable them to carry out competitive and winning activities supported by knowledge and research.

The factory is expected to be completed this year and will be located in the Dire Dawa Industrial Village. The company has also established a working relationship with farmers who will supply the production inputs to the factory. Moreover, the company is ready to supply quality fruits, vegetables, and flower products to Middle Eastern countries and other destinations. It believes that the dry port and Ethio-Djibouti subway projects that are currently in use in Dredawa will create a good opportunity for investment and will be crucial for their success.
