Huwaei introduced a major mobile broadband technology program in Ethiopia over the last week. 
The company is committed to invest in the Ethiopian communications sector and is sure that it can bring new technology to the country.
Ethiopia companies are increasingly taking advantage of the benefits associated with ICT and local organizations are working in partnership with Huawei and other technology suppliers to realize the growing use of ICT in the country.
Huwaei is seeking ICT markets in Africa to achieve its aim of ‘Growing with Africa’ and has invested an estimated 1.5 billion US dollars towards the development of African economies and the telecom sector.In related news Huawei, which has been increasing its presence on the Ethiopian ICT and telecommunication market for the last few years, is set to share the telecom market in Ethiopia with ZTE according to Austin Pan Chief Executive Officer of Huawei.
Ethiopia will be on the forefront of telecom services in Africa should it employ Huawei Technologies said Pan.
It is to be remembered that Huawei is one of the three telecom providers who proffered a bid for the telecom infrastructure development project, a multi-million dollar project, to the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.
