Oracle has presented a varied range of high tech solutions for institutions making use of Information Technology in Ethiopia. 
The company is confident that the software solutions that it offers will make its customers more competitive and effective on the market said Brook Fekadu, Managing Director of Boston Consulting, Oracle partner in Ethiopia.
Financial institutes in particular are exposed to a range of risks as they adopt modern technology such as ATM’s and electronic banking according to Brook.
Oracle can make available the latest solutions to counteract any potential risks he noted.The company is engaged in creating awareness for the products it has made available said Brook.
Representatives from various financial institutions as well as from Ethio Telecom were amongst other ICT based companies that attended the presentation organized by Oracle.
It is to be remembered that the US technology company, Oracle is currently undertaking a significant project for the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance; the National Procurement System worth 20 million US dollars.
