Ashewa Technology Solutions S.C. announced that it opened a branch in Nairobi, Kenya. The opening of the branch is expected to help in the development of eCommerce and digital market between the two countries.

The company’s CEO Daniel Bekele stated that Ashewa Technology Solutions opened the branch considering the future of African Continental Free Trade Area which would allow countries to trade digitally.

Ashewa Technology Solutions was established in October last year and it currently has a capital of Birr 180 million. It signed a memorandum of understanding with Africom Technology in December 2022 aiming at establishing the largest digital economy in Ethiopia and expanding its eCommerce service nationally and globally.
